Privacy Policy

How we handle your data, with transparency and under the GDPR.

Last updated: 2026-07-03

This policy explains how CDC collects and processes the personal data of those who use the cdc-corporation.com website and the contact forms. We aim to be clear and direct: if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Who is the data controller

The controller of your data is CDC - Digital Projects, represented by Pedro Coruche.

2. What data we collect and why

We only collect the data you provide voluntarily through the contact form, for a single purpose: to respond to your request and, if it makes sense, to prepare a diagnosis.

  • Name: to know who we are talking to.
  • Email: to reply to you.
  • Company (optional): to give context to your request.
  • Message: the content of what you want to tell us.

If you prefer to book a call directly, we use Cal.com. In that case, the data you provide (name and email) is processed to schedule and confirm the meeting.

We do not collect sensitive data and do not build automated profiles of visitors.

3. On what legal basis

  • Consent: by submitting the form, you accept this policy through an explicit checkbox.
  • Legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps: responding to a request you send us and following up on possible joint work.

4. How long we keep it

We keep contact data for 1 (one) year from the last contact. After that period, it is deleted. If in the meantime we start a commercial relationship, the necessary data is kept for the applicable legal period.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We share the bare minimum with providers that help us run the site:

  • Hostinger: website hosting and sending of the form email (handler send.php).
  • Cal.com: when you choose to book a call through the scheduling widget.
  • Google (Analytics): aggregated site-usage statistics, subject to your consent (see the Cookie Policy). Google may process this data outside the EU, under the applicable standard contractual clauses and data-transfer framework.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses essential cookies (preferences) and, subject to your consent, Google Analytics cookies to understand and improve how the site is used. For full details and how to manage consent, see our Cookie Policy.

  • We store your language preference (PT/FR/EN) in the browser's local storage. It does not identify or track anyone.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits in an aggregated way; you can disable it (see the Cookie Policy).
  • The Cal.com widget, when you interact with it, may set its own cookies, managed by Cal.com.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you;
  • Request the correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request the erasure of your data;
  • Object to or request the restriction of processing;
  • Request the portability of the data you provided to us.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@cdc-corporation.com. We reply within the legal deadline. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD (the Portuguese data protection authority) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Our commitment

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use your data to train public AI models.
  • We apply the principle of minimal access.
  • The site runs over HTTPS and follows good security practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
